This week was my personal development week.
During this week off, I did a couple of photoshoots. Like previously stated in my previous post, I was going to photograph a group of Craftspeople in a group called the English Bridge Workshop, which had multiple different religious trades in. From an Iconographer to a stain glass maker.
This variety of different trades, meant that I could see how each have made their own space. This personal aspect to their spaces and also seeing them whilst they did their trade was something of interesting to me. It was important to me to have establishing shots and close up of the space. I am reasonably happy with how this shoot has gone, but could've gone better in my opinion. The reason why I think it could've been better is having more close-up shots of interesting items.
Although I enjoy photographing craftspeople, I feel moving to my new idea of photographing people who work with their hands. I have recently been in contact with a local scrap metal recycling plant, local bin companies, quarry and also local oil refineries.
