Week Nine

Starting this week I had no shoots planned. I instead have started to plan for my interim exhibition and what set of images would work the strongest together. I love the work I did at the recycling plant, but I feel the shoot with the garage has far more depth to it.

I am still yet to decide on the layout, but I would like to display it in black frames. The reason for me wanting to show the images in black frames is because the exhibitions I have seen with black & white work, seems to work strongest. I have been able to put my images into different sets, a small four set and a set of six.

I feel as a set of images they are strong and would create a good understanding of what my work is about. The dark grainy images work well together, to show the dirty oily workshop. The images shown above are printed on my university inkjet printer. I like the border the images shown nut maybe have it slightly smaller.

For this week though I have been in contact with the Roman Tours in Chester, to photograph their everyday procedures and also been in contact with a local tattoo studio, both I am waiting for responses to.
