Week Ten & Eleven

Sorry for the long delay!!! As of the upcoming interim exhibition, I had a lot of emphasis on how and where to show the images. The images I had chosen where that of the local mechanic, the reason for choosing these images is due to the set having depth, so the viewer gets immersed into the work. I have chosen black glossed frames because of the contrast it has with the almost grimy or dirty images. Having a pure white wall with these images could be really interesting.

I had a long discussion with classmates and myself on how to exhibit the work. I liked the idea of having different sets of images. Having different sizes was an interesting discussion, my first idea was having four A4 images and then six 6x4 images. After printing and framing I felt that six A4s and a group of four 6x4s.

The different sets being portrait, detail then more establishing shots. I felt I could use the available light to my advantage. You can see my exhibition space below:

Overall I am happy with how the exhibition has come together. The only negatives being theres a fine white border on the images and the spacing could be moved slightly. Use better frames for my final exhibition because they were poorly made.
