Happy New Year!!
I am glad to announce that people enjoyed the exhibition and my work was perceived well.
Over the Christmas break, I spent most of the time ill or working on various other projects. But I am happy to announce that I have arranged some various shoots in the future. One of which being a shoot with the local Tarmac Quarry, where I will be shadowing various employees around the site. I will be shooting both with my Nikon d610 and also medium format.
Having access to shooting the machinery and the various employees will create a strong set of images continuing from my previous series. I hope to be immersed into the whole experience. This shoot will be during February some point, whether in the half-term or not.
Hopefully soon I will be photographing my local tattoo artist, which will be an interesting work place contrast to the places which I have photographed. Photographing the artists in detail within their workspace would be a extremely interesting set of images. The customers and the artists themselves would be interesting subjects.
During the break I had been taking pictures with my small mirrorless camera which can be seen: https://www.instagram.com/lainchbury_photography/

I hope to be updating this soon with more information on what I have been doing.
