Hello,
Again sorry for the delay on blog updates. I have shot medium format and digitally. This went far better than my previous shoot which I have done. The landscapes were stronger this time (plus not as muddy as last time).
This time I was able to get more portraits and detail shots. So hopefully I am now ready to start editing and producing my final exhibition. The images I have taken, have to go through the manager at the quarry before I display them. I am now thinking of framing and what I would like to show in the work. I will try various papers and ways of displaying my work.
I have handed in a proposal to university of what sort of display I'd like to do. My initial idea is 6 thin black frames possibly (16x20). I have contacted the in-house frame maker and will cost about (£26-28). I will also look around to see what other frames there are, but would be nice to have frames built for the images rather than the other way around.
My book is coming along, doing some test prints of it today. I hope it won't be needing too much adjusting, again I will start looking at what paper and materials to create the book. I have another shoot for this coming up this Saturday (the merseyside derby).
Here's couple of images I have taken whilst walking around:
